On a calm, sunny day, nothing is more beautiful than the south coast of Wellington.  One can see the South Island's snowcapped mountains, the Cook Strait ferries, and the seals basking under the sun near Red Rocks.

What's more, all these are within 15 km from the City centre!

From time to time, the CCVC organise clean up trips to the South Coast to help remove rubbish that disgusting litter bugs had left behind.  Among the rubbish  collected, there were a number of car tyres, car batteries and even a ten-dollar note!

As usual, the boys took the long route to the destination via the Tip Track (a popular downhill ride for mountain bikers - record is less than 7 minutes!)  Here're some of the shots taken on the trip, as well as some taken on an earlier trip.
